What does a typical week look like with Sentosa?
It depends on which arrangement you choose. For meal planning, it begins with a short call at the start of each week to confirm preferences, followed by list coordination and delivery scheduling. The family coordination service runs on a shared timeline agreed at your initial planning session — so everyone knows what's happening and when.
Do we need to be based in Kuala Lumpur to use Sentosa?
Our in-person arrangements focus on the Kuala Lumpur area, particularly around Jalan Raja Chulan and surrounding districts. Family members coordinating from elsewhere in Malaysia — or even abroad — are very welcome. A lot of our families have children living in other cities who manage the household remotely.
How is pricing structured — is there a contract?
Meal Planning & Grocery Coordination is priced per week at RM 520. Festive & Occasion Support is priced per occasion at RM 2,300. Family Coordination & Information Service starts at RM 4,500 for the initial package. We discuss the right arrangement for your family before any commitment is made.
My mother is quite private. Will this feel intrusive?
That's a fair concern and one we hear often. Our approach is background coordination — we handle the organising so routines stay familiar and undisturbed at home. Many older relatives appreciate that we take the administrative weight off the household without changing how their day feels.
Can we start with one arrangement and add others later?
Absolutely. Most families begin with meal planning or a single occasion, and then expand their arrangement as they feel comfortable. There's no obligation to commit to everything at once.
How quickly can things be put in place?
For meal planning, we can usually begin within a week of your first conversation with us. Occasion support arrangements work best when planned two to three weeks ahead. Family coordination starts with an initial session which we aim to schedule within five working days of your enquiry.
